The current abortion epidemic is arguably Australia’s greatest social justice crisis. Some would even say that abortion is the slavery issue of our age. It destroys at least 80,000 precious lives each year and devastates hundreds of thousands more.
But despite this gruesome and torturous reality a growing majority of Australians approve of abortion. They may be shocked at the vast numbers who are aborted each year, but nonetheless, they still support the concept of easy-access to abortion.
In the past we have looked to politicians to protect our unborn with legislation, but sadly a growing number of politicians now simply reflect the pro-abortion views of the broader community.
In this tragic era we can no longer rely just on politicians. The only way forward is to change the social consciousness of the entire nation and for everyday ordinary people to fall in love with the unborn.
While this may seem a daunting and impossible task, consider the incredible achievements of the animal welfare movement, who in a few short decades have changed the consciousness of everyday ordinary Australians in regards to issues such as whale hunting.
Change is difficult. However, with the assistance of modern media advertising, we have an opportunity to make it happen.
If abortion really is Australia’s greatest social justice crisis, then it needs Australia’s greatest ever media advertising campaign. A massive, relentless, clever and positive media campaign that runs until abortion, just like slavery in England, is abolished.
To fund this media campaign, Emily’s Voice has developed Australia’s first child sponsorship program for the unborn.
